Chele Cary

Chelé Cary is a Managing Director at CX, a Connor Group Company, and is located in Salt Lake City.

Chelé leads the revenue and business development team and is responsible for national growth initiatives for the company. Chelé brings a wealth of accounting and finance experience across diverse industries such as healthcare, agriculture, SaaS, consumer products, and oil and gas. Her expertise is in people, processes, and systems and driving efficiency within the accounting and finance organization. She has worked on projects such as supporting the controller function for an entity in a high-risk bankruptcy, interim controller for high-growth SaaS and healthcare companies - managing multiple acquisitions for each, addressing technical accounting challenges, overseeing integrations, leading project management initiatives, valuations, and optimizing working capital. She has also overseen the creation of financial reporting information to support investors and drive decision making for the company. She has led complex integration and financial close improvement processes for companies without previous controls or formal month-end close processes in place.

Prior to Connor Group, Chelé started her career at EY and has over 7 years of Corporate Controller experience. Beyond her professional roles, Chelé is dedicated to advancing women in their careers. Leading a women's group within CX, she fosters a supportive environment for education and community. She also sits on the board for Girl Scouts of Utah.
