Marie Dukes is a Managing Director at CX, a Connor Group Company, and is located in the Las Vegas area.
Marie is a transformational financial leader with over 20 years of accounting expertise in diverse industries, including casino gaming, hospitality, food & beverage, entertainment, and residential real estate. Known for her motivation and leadership, Marie excels in delivering financial accuracy through process and system automations, driving improved productivity and empowering her teams. She specializes in controllership, process improvements, system implementations, fixed asset management, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting and analysis.
Prior to CX, Marie spent over 15 years at the Las Vegas Sands Corp, where she held various positions, most recently as the Executive Director of Accounting, Shared Services. In this role, she led multiple divestitures, implemented a full suite of cloud-based accounting software, and designed SOX control solutions for financial system changes. Marie has a proven track record of leading significant cross-functional projects, employing change management and uplifting her teams’ skillsets. Her efforts in automating financial processes and streamlining reporting deliverables have set a benchmark within her organizations. Additionally, Marie began her career in the audit and assurance practice at PwC in Las Vegas, NV, where she gained experience on both public and private clients.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Marie is deeply committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, empowerment and continuous improvement within her teams. Marie values continuous learning and personal development, holding a CPA certification in Nevada and having completed leadership programs at Cornell University.
