Robert Wang is a Managing Director at CX, a Connor Group Company, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With over two decades of experience, Robert has played a pivotal role in shaping CX's trajectory, serving as one of the six original core leaders, leading and contributing significantly to its growth and culture.
Robert specializes in providing expert counsel on controllership services, focusing on improving monthly close processes, creating standard operating procedures, and implementing proper controls for workflows and deliverables. He has advised on multiple significant initial public offerings, collaborating closely with senior management, executives, external auditors and legal counsel to ensure smooth transitions to public company status.

Throughout his career, Robert has been a respected voice in both operational and technical aspects of accounting. He has provided guidance on complex technical accounting issues, including revenue recognition and equity transactions, and has extensive experience in SEC filings and compliance.

Before joining CX, Robert held various roles at Proofpoint and Affymetrix, where he performed close duties, ensured compliance with SEC regulations and provided guidance on technical accounting issues. Prior to that, he worked as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young, leading audit teams for diverse clients in real estate, retail, and technology industries.
